There is a definite place for a NO and there is a definite place for a YES. What is important is to be clear what you are saying NO to and what you are saying YES to.
Life is like a cake. The individual ingredients like flour, salt, sugar, milk and raw eggs are gross when taken separately. However when you mix them in the right quantities, you get a delicious cake. Good things only make you pompous. Bad things only make you bitter. The right mix is what makes life beautiful.
Not all opportunities are really meant for you and that’s okay. Sometimes it’s not easy to decide which opportunities to pursue and which to ignore. When I am faced with such decisions as a woman of faith, my prayer is always Lord close and lock the doors that I shouldn’t be walking into.
